We are Jason and Christina
Huitt from Lincolnton, NC. As a husband and wife team
who purchased and built their own dream home from
Timberhaven Log Homes, we decided to pursue a career
in the log home business. As a result, we founded
South Mountain Log Homes & Construction, Inc.
which is a full service builder and authorized Timberhaven Log Homes Sales Reps for the Western Piedmont and Foothill
Region of North Carolina.
Through purchasing our own log
home and being a builder, we researched copious log
home companies before finding Timberhaven Log Homes. Their integrity,
quality, and enthusiasm for log homes by far surpassed
any other log home company we encountered. In addition,
their extensive kiln drying process of their logs
and their “No-Shop” package were two outstanding
qualities that made them stand out from the rest.
Due to trying to find a reputable log home company

From dry-ins to turn key projects, we can handle it
all! In addition, we also help self-builders through
the construction process by answering construction
questions, on site technical assistance if needed,
and walking them through the process. We also welcome
clients who have their own builders that they would
like to use. Financing is another service with which
we can offer assistance. Whether it is a construction
loan or permanent mortgage, we work closely with lenders
who specialize in log home construction. As you can
see, we don’t just sell log packages like most
dealers, we offer a one-stop shop by providing all
of the other necessary items if needed – construction
and financing!
